Doctors and researchers from Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and Teachers College, Columbia University, invited Black and African American individuals with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers to join. Partnering with St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church, the goal was to work together in developing an educational guide about Parkinson's disease (PD), specifically for the Black and African American community.
